We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. The personal information you provide to us will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may change our Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event that we do we shall update this page. You should check this page from time to time to review any changes.
2. Data protection statement
For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation - UK GDPR, the data controller is Draeger Safety UK Ltd, Ullswater Close, Blyth Riverside Business Park, Blyth, Northumberland, NE24 4RG.
2.1 Information We Collect
When you place an order on our UK webshop, or use any online form on our website we may collect and process the following data about you:
- Your name, your postal address, your e-mail address, your telephone number, your credit card number and expiry date and/or bank account details.
- Other information which you provide, for example during registration, when you subscribe to one of our newsletters (e-newsletter or otherwise), when entering a prize draw, an online promotion, completing surveys or when you execute an agreement/complete a transaction.
- Correspondence, if you should contact us.
- Details of your visits to our website. The information obtained in this respect and how it is dealt with is set out below at paragraph 2.2.
2.2 Details of your visits to our websites
Each time you access a page within our website and each time a file is opened, the access data about this process are saved in a log file on our server.
Each record consists of:
- the file name;
- the date and time of the request;
- the transferred data volume;
- the access status (file transferred, file not found etc.); and - your IP address.
This data is used exclusively for the purpose of data security and optimisation of our website. The data will not be evaluated in any other way except for statistical purposes, but then only in anonymous form. No personal web browsing profiles or similar personal profiles are created or processed.
2.3 How we use your data
The information is used to enable us process your request and/or order and to carry out our obligations arising in respect of any contracts entered into between you and us. Only relevant and appropriate information is used by us and passed on to subcontractors (e.g. carriers) to provide you with the service you have requested and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the provision of the service in general.
The respective input and contact forms contain information about the purpose of the data being gathered. Such data is transmitted encrypted over the Internet. We will only use your data for promotional purposes if you have explicitly given your agreement. We do not link the information you provide to the access data referred to at paragraph 2.2 above.
We may also collect, use and aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage and traffic in order to help us develop the website and our service to our customers. These statistics will never include information that can be used to identify any individual customers.
In addition we may use your information to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes or to notify you about changes to our service.
We may disclose your information to a third party in the following circumstances:
- Where we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation;
- in order to enforce or apply our Website Terms of Use or Terms and Conditions of Sale and other agreements; and
- to protect the rights, property, or safety of Draeger Safety UK Ltd, our customers, or others.
This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction and conducting Restricted Party Screening as detailed in paragraph 4.
By submitting your information you consent to our use of this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy as amended from time to time.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files which can be temporarily stored on your hard drive.
These files simplify your navigation on the website and have a technical function. Cookie information is only used to further improve the website for users. This includes information about the web browser used, the time spent with our offers and which websites you have visited.
We use both so-called "session cookies" which are only saved intermediately for the duration of your use of our website and "permanent cookies" which retain information on visitors who repeatedly access our website. The purpose of cookies is to provide you with the best possible user guidance. Our website can also be used without cookies. You can disable the storage of cookies in your browser, limit it to specific websites or adjust your browser to prompt you whenever a cookie is sent. However, please note that if you limit cookies, you have to expect a limited display of the relevant page or limited user guidance.
Cookies may also be used on linked pages without us being able to alert you beforehand. During login session cookies are required because we use the single sign-on concept which facilitates authentication and access control in different areas of our portal.
This includes the setup of a "session" between the client and server allowing you to move within the whole portal without having to log in to each area separately. This session is represented by a cookie storing a randomly generated number.
The cookie also stores the login information allocated to you (user name, access rights and session validity) for access control purposes. Instead of asking you for the renewed input of your login information, the cookie is sent to the server and accepted as proof of identity.
There is no linkage to personal data and the activities of a user cannot be traced.
Upon request, you can choose to have your user name saved permanently in a third cookie. During frequent use of the portal this simplifies your login, because your user name will already be completed in the login form and you only have to enter the password. This method poses risks to the user because your login data may be misused by third parties.
4. Security Checks
To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting the Terms you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. This is done only to confirm your identity, a credit check is not performed and your credit rating will be unaffected.
In addition, your name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the registration process will be used to conduct Restricted Party Screening against government produced lists of official denied persons or illegal trans-shippers, blocked from import or export transactions, or sanctioned by a government for illegal acts. This will be completed using an appropriate third party business online tool, including search engine and database facility.
A record of this screening and its outcome will be retained in line with our Record Keeping Policy.
5. Where we store your personal data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology (via Thawte Inc. - http://www.thawte.com/index.html). Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
6. Changes to the data protection statement
If we introduce new products or services, modify our methodology for using the Internet or if Internet and IT security technology develops further, the "data protection statement" may need to be updated. We therefore reserve the right to modify or amend this statement as may be required. We will publish the changes at this location [or if appropriate notify you by email.] You should therefore regularly open this website in order to inform yourself about the current status of the data protection statement.
All information contained on this website has been checked with greatest care. However, we cannot guarantee that the content of our own websites is always correct, complete or up-to-date.
7. Third party websites
We occasionally refer or link to third party websites. Although we select such third parties carefully, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the contents and the data security of third party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to linked third party websites, such third party websites will have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for such policies. We advise that you review the same prior to submitting any personal data to these third party websites.
8. Services used on this website
Adobe Analytics
This website uses the web analytics service Adobe Analytics to evaluate user access to this website. For the analysis, cookies are stored on your terminal device and information is collected about it, which is also stored on servers of our contract processor Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, located at 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Park 0000 Dublin 24, Ireland ("Adobe").
The information stored on Adobe servers cannot be directly linked to a specific person because Adobe Analytics is used with the settings "Before Geo-Lookup: Replace visitor's last IP octet with 0" and "Obfuscate IP-Removed".
The setting "Before Geo-Lookup: Replace visitor's last IP octet with 0" ensures that the IP address is anonymized by replacing the last octet of the IP address with zeros before this so-called geolocation. The approximate location of the user is added to the tracking packet that still contains the full IP address for statistical analysis. Before the tracking packet is stored, the IP address is then replaced with a single fixed IP address - this is called a generic IP address - if the "Obfuscate IP-Removed" setting is configured. This means that the IP address is no longer included in a stored record.
For users from the UK and European Union: We only use Adobe Analytics in connection with your personal data if you have given us your express consent in advance. Your consent is also the legal basis for the use of Adobe Analytics pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) UK GDPR. You can decide yourself about the setting of cookies as described in your Cookie Settings on our website and, in particular, deactivate already activated cookies from Adobe Analytics by deselecting the cookie group "Statistics" and thus revoking your consent. In addition, you can also disable the setting of cookies altogether in your browser settings. Your personal data collected in connection with Adobe will be deleted or anonymized after 24 months.
Data processing by Adobe Analytics is governed by Adobe's privacy policy. Learn more about Adobe Analytics' privacy policy at https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policy.html
Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager of Google Ireland Limited ("Google Tag Manager") on our website. Google Tag Manager is used to manage our website tags via an interface. The Google Tag Manager is a domain to which the IP address is transmitted for technical reasons. The Google Tag Manager then triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data.
The legal basis for users of the UK and EU for the transmission of the IP address is our legitimate interest in managing our website services and triggering other tags in accordance with Art. 6 para. (1) (f) UK GDPR. Further information on data processing can be found at: https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/7157428.
HubSpot
For our online marketing activities, we use HubSpot, an integrated software solution from HubSpot, Inc, 25 First Street, Cambridge, MA 02141 USA or HubSpot European Office, Ground Floor, Two Dockland Central, Guild Street, Dublin 1, Ireland ("HubSpot") that allows us to cover a wide range of aspects, including:
- e-mail marketing (newsletter, banner and automated e-mails, e.g. to provide downloads)
- social media publishing and reporting
- reporting (e.g., sources of traffic, access, etc.)
- contact management (e.g., user segmentation and customer relationship management)
- landing pages, blogs, and contact forms
- services (live-chat, chat-bots, ticket system, polls, knowledge databases)
For users from the UK and European Union, the legal basis for the aforementioned online marketing activities - unless otherwise indicated - is the implementation of pre-contractual measures in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) and our legitimate interest in the efficient provision of information in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) UK GDPR.
In addition, we use the meetings function of HubSpot to effectively and easily arrange appointments with you. For this purpose, free times of our participating employees are shown to you. You can select your preferred appointment time and arrange it with a staff member via "Confirm meeting". For this purpose, we process your first and last name as well as your business e-mail address. As soon as you press the "Continue" button in "Confirm meeting", you will receive a corresponding confirmation e-mail from us. For users from the UK and European Union, the legal basis is the implementation of pre-contractual measures according to Art. 6 (1) (b) as well as our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) (f) UK GDPR in efficient scheduling.
In addition, we use HubSpot's tracking tool for our online marketing activities on our website with your consent. HubSpot uses cookies to enable an analysis of your use of the website by us. HubSpot evaluates the collected information (e.g. IP address, timestamp, geographical location, type of browser, duration of visit and pages viewed) on our behalf so that we can generate reports about the visit and the pages visited. Information collected by HubSpot and the content of our website is stored on servers of HubSpot's service providers.
The legal basis for the processing is your consent, for users from the UK and European Union in accordance with Art. 6 para. (1) (a) UK GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future by deselecting the "Marketing" cookie group. The cookies and the personal data collected in this context will be deleted or anonymized after 13 months at the latest.
If you give us your advertising consent, the data will be exchanged between HubSpot, Inc. and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM system) of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited in order to be able to compare and complete the database of both systems.
We have concluded so-called EU standard contractual clauses with HubSpot to ensure an appropriate level of data protection when transferring personal data from the EU. In addition, HubSpot is certified according to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so that an adequate level of data protection within the meaning of Art. 45 UK GDPR is ensured (adequacy decision).
Further information on data protection can be found in the HubSpot Data Protection Policy at https://legal.hubspot.com/de/privacy-policy, in the Cookie Policy at https://legal.hubspot.com/de/cookie-policy and on the HubSpot knowledge pages at HubSpot Knowledge Base.
Consent Management Platform
As our Consent Management Platform (CMP) we use the Usercentrics service provided by Usercentrics GmbH of Germany. This CMP serves to collect and share personal data and to manage and document consents.
- Consent data (consent ID, consent number, time consent was given, opt-in or opt-out, banner language, customer settings, template version)
- Device data (HTTP agent, HTTP referrer)
- IP address
- Geolocation
For users in the European Union, the processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in order to safeguard our legitimate interest in consent management and in administering the services on the website. Further information on the processing of your personal data by Usercentrics GmbH can be found in the Usercentrics data protection information at: https://usercentrics.com/trust-center/.
Microsoft Advertising
On our website we use Microsoft Advertising, a service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Ireland, EU) (formerly Bing Ads). Microsoft Advertising is an online marketing service made available to us through the Universal Event Tracking (UET) tool, which delivers targeted advertisements via the Microsoft Bing, Yahoo and Aol search engines and other search partners (e.g. Ecosia, DuckDuckGo) as well as across the Microsoft Audience Network.
To this end, Microsoft Advertising uses cookies and processes personal data such as online identifiers (including cookie identifiers), IP addresses, device identifiers and information about device and browser settings.
Microsoft Advertising is used for the purpose of optimising the placement of advertisements. To do so, Microsoft Advertising collects data via UET that allows us to track audiences on the basis of remarketing lists. For this purpose, a cookie is stored on the device you use when you visit our website. In this way, Microsoft Advertising recognises that our website has been visited, so that an advertisement can be displayed when you subsequently use Microsoft Bing or Yahoo. The information is also used to compile conversion statistics, i.e. to record how many users reached our website after clicking on an advertisement. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on our advertisement and were redirected to our website. However, we do not receive any information that would allow us to identify you personally.
The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future by deselecting the "Marketing & Statistics" cookie group. The cookies and the personal data collected in this context are deleted or anonymised after 13 months at the latest.
Where data is transferred to Microsoft Corp. in individual cases, this is done on the basis of the EU standard data protection clauses pursuant to Article 46(2)(d) GDPR, to which Microsoft Corp. submits.
Further information on data protection at Microsoft can be found in Microsoft's privacy notice at: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-gb/privacystatement
Google Ads
We also use the Google Ads online advertising programme provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google Ads").
With your consent, we use Google's remarketing function. This enables us to display advertisements to you in a targeted manner across devices and to present them in line with your interests. On websites, you will be shown products in which an interest has been identified on other websites within the Google network - including across devices - based on your browsing and usage behaviour.
For this function, technical information (e.g. IP address, time of the visit, device and browser information) is read out and cookies are set. Any further data processing only takes place if you have activated the "personalised advertising" setting in your Google account. If, in that case, you are logged into your Google account while visiting our website, Google will use your data to create audience lists for cross-device remarketing.
Furthermore, we use the conversion tracking function to measure the effectiveness of individual advertisements, offers and functions. Conversion tracking is supported by Google's Conversion Linker function. Conversion Linker tags are used to help tags measure click data so that conversions can be measured effectively. You can find further information on this at: https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/7549390?hl=en-GB.
To measure conversions, cookies are placed on your device as soon as you click on a Google advertisement. These cookies do not serve to identify you personally, but are intended to make it possible to determine whether you return to the website with the specific offer within the 90-day validity period of the cookies.
When you, as a website visitor, click through to our website, the URL of the conversion page on your website usually contains information about the click. When a website visitor performs an action that you have marked as a conversion (e.g. when a Google Ads conversion tag is triggered), the click information is used to link this conversion to the click that brought the visitor to your website.
The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for us. We learn the total number of users who clicked on an advertisement and were redirected to a website tagged with a conversion tracking tag.
Enhanced Conversions is a function that improves the accuracy of conversion measurement and advertising. To this end, we collect customer data from the order in hashed form and send it to Google to improve our conversion measurement. In doing so, we use the one-way hashing algorithm known as SHA256. The customer data processed in hashed form includes, in particular: email address and customer ID. Your hashed data is matched against hashed Google account data and, where there is a match, recorded by us as a conversion. If the user gives their consent, the APIs for the consent mode of Google tags are loaded and executed. The legal basis for the transfer of technical information together with your consent decision is consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can find further information on the data processing at: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/13302288.
We only use Google Ads in connection with your personal data if you have given us your prior express consent. For users in the European Union, the legal basis for the use of Google Ads is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. As described above, you can decide for yourself whether cookies are set in your cookie settings on our website and, in particular, deactivate previously activated cookies and thereby withdraw your consent. In addition, you can deactivate the setting of cookies altogether in your browser settings. Your personal data collected in connection with Google Ads is deleted or anonymised after 14 months (with regard to the IP address) or one month (with regard to cookie information).
You can configure the information that Google uses to display advertising via the following Google link: https://adssettings.google.com/. Alternatively, you can deactivate the cookies on the Digital Advertising Alliance page at the following link https://optout.aboutads.info/ or on the Your Online Choices page at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/. Further information on the rights to which you are entitled as a data subject vis-à-vis Dräger, including the right of withdrawal, can be found below under section VII of this data protection information. You can also find further information on setting and objection options in Google's advertising privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and on data protection at Google in general in Google's general privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google Analytics"). We use Google Analytics to measure interaction data from different devices and across different sessions. On our behalf, Google will use the information collected to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and to make it more interesting for you as a user.
For this purpose, Google Analytics processes information such as online identifiers (including cookie identifiers), IP addresses, device identifiers and information about your interaction with our website, which enables an analysis of your use of the website. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is truncated within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Google Analytics will only take effect vis-à-vis you if you have given us your prior express consent. Your consent is the legal basis for the use of Google Analytics pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. As described above, you can decide for yourself whether cookies are set in your cookie settings on our website and, in particular, deactivate previously activated cookies and thereby withdraw your consent. In addition, you can deactivate the setting of cookies altogether in your browser settings. Your personal data collected in connection with Google Analytics is deleted or anonymised after 14 months.
Further information on the rights to which you are entitled as a data subject vis-à-vis Dräger, including the right of withdrawal, can be found below under section VII of this data protection information. You can also find further information on setting and objection options and on data protection at Google in general in Google's general privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Consent Mode
On our website we use Google Consent Mode provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Consent Mode"). Consent Mode is a consent procedure for Google services (e.g. Google Ads or Google Analytics) that enables Google to comply with the legal obligations of the EU Regulation on contestable and fair markets in the digital sector ("Digital Markets Act"). The Digital Markets Act provides that Google, as a core platform service, must obtain its own consent from the user of the Google service. To enable Google to comply with this legal obligation, we have implemented this consent procedure in our consent management tool. We therefore forward your decision on the use of certain Google services to Google. For this purpose, we transmit technical information (e.g. IP address) to Google Ireland Limited.
We have implemented Consent Mode in its basic version. Google tags are only loaded once you have consented to the relevant Google service. Until the consent decision is made, and in the event that the use of the relevant Google service is refused, no data is transmitted to Google Ireland Limited - not even the consent status. The triggering of Google tags is blocked entirely. The conversion modelling of consent mode in advertisements is then based on a general model.
If the user gives their consent, the APIs for the consent mode of Google tags are loaded and executed.
The legal basis for the transfer of technical information together with your consent decision is consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You can find further information on the data processing at: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/14505993, https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/13554116 and https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/10000067.
Meta Functions
In addition, with your consent, we use the Meta Pixel on our website. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta"), is responsible for the processing of your personal data in connection with Meta.
The Meta Pixel is used to track the activities of a website visitor. To this end, a connection to the Meta servers is established via this pixel using your IP address when you visit our website. We use the Meta Pixel to assign users to audiences (known as "Website Custom Audiences") for remarketing purposes and to align the delivery of advertisements on Meta advertising spaces (known as "Facebook Ads" and "Instagram Ads", hereinafter "Meta Ads") accordingly. Accordingly, we use the Meta Pixel to display the Meta Ads we have placed to those Meta users who also have an interest in our web pages or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in particular topics or products, determined on the basis of the web pages visited) that we transmit to Meta. With the help of the Meta Pixel, we also want to ensure that our Meta Ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not perceived as intrusive.
In addition, the data collected is processed statistically for the measurement, evaluation and optimisation of the effectiveness of Meta advertisements, in that we can see whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Meta advertisement and which actions they carried out there (e.g. downloads) (known as a "conversion"). Meta provides us with reports on this in anonymised form. Meta assigns this information, transmitted in hashed form, to your Meta account, provided you have one.
Just like us, Meta is responsible for the use of your personal data for targeting purposes on Meta. We have therefore concluded a joint controller processing agreement with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which you can access here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum
In this agreement, we have divided the data protection obligations as follows:
- We are responsible for making available to you all the information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 GDPR regarding the joint processing of personal data;
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. is responsible for guaranteeing the rights set out in Articles 15 to 20 GDPR with regard to the personal data stored by Meta following the joint processing.
Meta is solely responsible for the processing of the transmitted data that follows the transfer.
Cookies may be set on your device via the Meta Pixel. The processing of the aforementioned information by the Meta Pixel and the setting and reading of the Meta cookie only take place with your consent. Your consent is also the legal basis for the use of the Meta Pixel; for users in the European Union, this is pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
As described above, you can decide for yourself in your cookie settings on our website about the collection by the Meta Pixel and the use of your data to display Meta Ads and, in particular, deactivate previously activated cookies and thereby withdraw your consent. You can also deactivate the setting of cookies altogether in your browser settings, as described above. In addition, you can access the following page set up by Meta and follow the instructions on the settings for usage-based advertising there ("Your Ad Preferences") to configure which types of advertisements are displayed to you within Meta: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices. Your personal data collected in connection with the Meta Pixel is deleted or anonymised after 3 months.
Further information on data protection - in particular the contact details of Meta and Meta's data protection officer - as well as on your rights and setting options can be found in the Terms of Service for Meta Business Tools, including the controller addendum, and in Meta's data and cookie policies at https://www.facebook.com/policy and https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/.
LinkedIn ("Insight Tag")
Furthermore, on our website we use conversion tracking with the LinkedIn Insight Tag, a tool provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn"). For this purpose, the LinkedIn Insight Tag is integrated into our pages and a cookie is set on your device by LinkedIn. LinkedIn is thereby informed that you have visited our web pages, and your IP address is also collected in the process. In addition, timestamps and events such as page views are stored. This enables us to statistically evaluate the use of our website in order to continuously optimise it. For example, we learn which LinkedIn advertisement or interaction on LinkedIn brought you to our website. This enables us to control the delivery of our advertising more effectively.
In addition, with the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we can create what are known as website audiences and thereby deliver advertisements for our website to LinkedIn members who have visited our website. In doing so, the cookie information is matched with LinkedIn's member data in order to build the target audience. Direct identifiers are removed from this data within seven days and the remaining data is deleted after 180 days at the latest.
We only use the Insight Tag if you have given us your prior express consent. Your consent is also the legal basis for the use - for users in the European Union pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. As described above, you can decide for yourself whether cookies are set in your cookie settings on our website and, in particular, deactivate previously activated cookies by deselecting the "Marketing" cookie group and thereby withdraw your consent. In addition, you can deactivate the setting of cookies altogether in your browser settings. Your personal data collected in connection with the LinkedIn Insight Tag is deleted or anonymised after 90 days.
Further information on conversion tracking can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/67595/linkedin-conversion-tracking-overview. Please note that the data may be stored and processed by LinkedIn, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and LinkedIn can use the data for its own advertising purposes. You can find further information on this in LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. You can prevent the analysis of your usage behaviour by LinkedIn and the display of interest-based recommendations via https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Zoovu
On our website we offer you the option of using an interactive digital advisor that supports you in finding the product best suited to your use case. This service is provided by the third-party provider Zoovu (Deutschland) GmbH, Skalitzer Str. 104, 10997 Berlin ("Zoovu"). We offer this functionality under our own responsibility and have concluded a data protection agreement with Zoovu stipulating that our website visitors' data is processed only on the basis of our instructions, is not passed on to third parties and is technically adequately protected.
The legal basis for this use of the digital product advisor and the data processing described below is your consent - for users in the European Union pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings by deselecting the "Zoovu cookie" in the "Functional" cookie group. The cookies and the personal data collected in this context are deleted or anonymised after the session.
If you have given your consent, the following data is processed:
- Usage data: (performance of the digital assistant, answering of questions, navigation, product recommendations, purchase)
- Browser / operating system / device used
- Source of the referral
The usage data collected (using a cookie ID) is used to improve the experience of the digital product advisor, as well as for technical purposes and to improve the service. It is not possible to infer the user's identity from the ID we use.
If you have not given us your consent via the cookie banner, e.g. by refusing consent via the tracking banner, only those cookies that are necessary for the provision of the service are set, but no tracking of usage takes place as described above.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM system)
For communication and data storage, we use a customer relationship management system (CRM system) provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, based in Ireland.
We process personal information - in particular business contact information and technical information such as log information - insofar as this is necessary for business communication, the initiation of a contract, the performance of a contract, the execution of a contract, the documentation of business processes or fraud prevention.
The legal bases for the data processing depend on the context of the data processing situation and, for customers in the EU, may be the following:
The data processing - in particular of business contact information and contract information - may be based on the establishment of a contract and consequently on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
In addition, the fulfilment of legal obligations pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) GDPR may serve as the legal basis for data processing - in particular for statutory or contractual retention obligations.
Consent to the data processing may also form the legal basis for data processing - e.g. for promotional communication - pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. In particular, insofar as you give us advertising consent, the data is exchanged between HubSpot, Inc. and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited in order to reconcile and complete the data held in both systems.
Otherwise, the data processing may be based on our legitimate interest in business communication with contractual partners and in the prevention of disruptions and attempted fraud pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
