The gas warning device Pac 8500 O2/CO measures oxygen and carbon monoxide simultaneously and warns of dangerous gas concentrations.

  • 2- in single-gas device for personal measurement
  • Sensor combination: Oxygen and Carbon Monoxide
  • Standard measuring range: 0 - 25 Vol.-% O2, 0 - 2,000 ppm CO
  • A1/A2 alarm thresholds: 19/23 Vol.% O2, 20/40 ppm CO
  • Highly visible 360° alarm, acoustic and optical
  • The gas detector features powerful XXS sensor technology with high response speed
  • Low downtime due to simultaneous measurement of two gases
  • Storage of concentrations and results with date and time

Perform the prescribed functional tests before each use with the Dräger test and calibration stations and the associated test gases. Basis for the functional tests are the information sheets T021 / T023 (DGUV Information 213-056 or DGUV Information 213-057). Further information can be found here.

If you desire a custom alarm threshold configuration, please specify the alarm thresholds in the comment field at the end of the order process.

Relevant Cross-sensitivities - Dräger Sensor XXS O2/CO LC

The values given in the table are guidelines and apply to new sensors. The given values can vary by ±30%. The sensor can also be sensitive to other gases (data on request from Dräger). Gas mixtures can be displayed as a sum. Gases with negative sensitivity can negate a positive display of O2 or CO. It should be checked if gas mixtures are present.

Gas/Vapor Concentration Display in ppm CO/O2
Ammonia (NH3) 100 ppm no influence
Chlorine (Cl2) 20 ppm no influence
Ethylene (C2H4) 2 Vol.-% O2 ≤ 2(–), CO ≤ 250
Helium (He) 20 Vol.-% O2 ≤ 3*
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) 10 Vol.-% O2 no influence, CO ≤ 2
Hydrogen (H2) 0.5 Vol.-% O2 ≤ 0.8(–), CO ≤ 1000
