The Multi Gas Detector Dräger X-am 8000 complete package with sensor equipment PID LC (Low Concentration), catalytic Ex sensor, and O2 sensor is a gas detection device for measuring benzene, xylene, toluene, ethylbenzene (BTEX), and other VCs (Volatile Compounds).

• The PID HC (Photoionization Detector Low Concentration) covers a measurement range of 0.03 - 10 ppm (Isobutene)
• Measurement of volatile organic compounds (substances that evaporate quickly), such as alcohols, ethers & aromatics
  • For benzene-specific measurements, the X-am 8000 can be operated with a pre-tube.

The test gases isobutene and nitrogen are essential because the sensor must be adjusted before each measurement to ensure the corresponding measurement accuracy.

• PID Sensor: A1 = 2 ppm; A2 = 4 ppm
• Catalytic Ex Sensor: Measuring gas = Propane; A1 = 20% LEL, A2 = 40% LEL
• O2 Sensor: A1 = 19 vol.%, A2 = 23 vol.%
