Rd40 gas filter 1140 AX for low-boiling organic vapours
Dräger 1140 AX gas filter with Rd40 thread, for protection against low-boiling organic vapours on Dräger respirators with a standard Rd40 connection.
- Filter type AX – the class for organic gases and vapours with a boiling point of 65 °C or below, exactly the substances an ordinary A filter is not approved to hold.
- Rd40 round thread to EN 148-1 – fits Dräger full face masks and half masks with the standard Rd40 connection.
- Single use only – AX filters must not be reused after a shift, because low-boiling substances can migrate through the carbon bed once loading has begun.
- Genuine Dräger filter – certified to EN 14387 and matched to the masks it is approved with.
Important safety information
- Filtering devices must never be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres or where the contaminant and its concentration are unknown.
- An AX filter is approved for a single shift only and must be discarded afterwards, even if breakthrough has not been noticed.
