How ppb measurement with MicroTubes works
The system uses colorimetric chemosensing: the substance reacts inside the MicroTube and the analyser reads the colour change optoelectronically. Because each MicroTube is specific to one substance and carries its calibration data on an RFID tag, the instrument knows what it is measuring and how to evaluate it as soon as the tube is inserted.
