Why selective benzene measurement beats a total VOC reading
A conventional PID reports every ionisable compound as one figure. Where benzene has to be assessed against a strict exposure limit, that is not enough: a high total VOC reading says nothing about how much of it is benzene. The X-pid 9500 separates the sample first, so the value on the display is the value you can document.
