Test gas: alternatively, the sensor can be calibrated with 10 ppm SO2. Such a surrogate calibration with SO2 may introduce an additional measurement error of up to 30 %. A function test must be carried out after a surrogate calibration or a sensor replacement; after 30 seconds at the latest, the reading must be greater than 1 ppm H2O2.

Relevant cross-sensitivities – DrägerSensor XS EC H2O2

The values given in the table are guide values and apply to new sensors. The values stated may vary by ±30%. The sensor may also be sensitive to other gases (data available from Dräger on request). Gas mixtures may be displayed as a combined total. Gases with a negative sensitivity can cancel out a positive H2O2 reading. It should therefore be checked whether gas mixtures are present.
