The control unit is the operating and evaluation device for the Dräger X-pid 9500 – an explosion-proof smartphone that controls the sensor unit by Bluetooth and displays the measured results.

Control unit based on an explosion-proof Smart-Ex® Android smartphone, approved for use in hazardous areas
Connects to the X-pid sensor unit via Bluetooth 4.0, so the sensor unit can stay at the measuring point while the reading is taken at a safe distance
The pre-installed mobile app starts the measurement, controls the instrument and evaluates the incoming data
