Powered air purifying respirator hire for dust and gases
The Dräger X-plore 8500 is a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) blower unit that pushes filtered air to your headtop, making breathing noticeably easier than with a half or full face mask.
- PAPR blower unit that draws air through the filter and delivers breathing air through the hose to the headtop
- Noticeably more comfortable than a conventional half or full face mask, because the wearer does not have to pull air through the filter – the reason PAPR systems are chosen for long shifts
- Depending on the filter fitted, it protects against particles, gases, or both
- No flow check needed before use: integrated sensors monitor the system and warn optically, audibly and by vibration if no hose or filter is attached
